The association “Sport et loisirs autour du livre” embraced a vibrant revival of its activities on Tuesday, September 17. The atmosphere brimmed with enthusiasm as the community welcomed both familiar faces and newcomers eager to embark on a journey of fitness and social connection. Together, they celebrated their shared commitment to improving health and wellness through physical activity. Participants rejoiced in the comfort of camaraderie as they strengthened their muscles, enhanced their posture, and invigorated their spirits with a rush of energy. This year, new members, including gentlemen Gilles and Laurent, participated in a trial class that’s surely led to their commitment to ongoing lessons. “We really need this—it’s been a while, and it feels so good for the morale,” expressed a mixture of participants as they inhaled the fresh energy of the season. Beyond just fitness, these sessions serve as a delightful platform for social bonds to blossom in the warm embrace of the community. As in previous years, Ludmila Wilk will guide classes held in the Jean-Racine hall: – Fit Zen, integrating elements of yoga and Pilates on Tuesdays from 6 PM to 7 PM; – Cardio and strength training, along with flexibility sessions on Tuesdays from 7:10 PM to 8:10 PM; – Gentle maintenance sessions on Thursdays from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A complimentary trial class invites anyone outside the village to join in on the fun, welcoming newcomers with open arms.
